Update to APM logo 8th edition editorial team
APM is pleased to announce that Professor Mike Bourne, Professor of Business Performance at Cranfield University (pictured), has been appointed Managing Editor of the APM logo 8th edition as the project moves into its next phase.
Professor Bourne has extensive experience in developing project leadership development programmes and research projects and is the author and co-author of over 100 publications including Moving goals and governance in megaprojects and Benefits Realisation: case studies in public major project delivery with recommendations for practice.
“I am really excited to be involved in this project and looking forward to working with APM and its members for this next iteration of the APM logo 8th 徱پDz” said Professor Bourne on his appointment.
Scott Walkinshaw, APM’s Head of Knowledge, said: “We’re delighted that Professor Bourne has agreed to lead the writing phase of the project. He offers extensive experience across several sectors and a balance of both practical and academic experience, which can only benefit the next 徱پDz”.
Professor Bourne takes over from Professor Carl Gavin, who led the work to develop and analyse last year’s logo consultation with the profession and develop the interim structure for the publication’s writing team.
Professor Gavin will remain with the project as an editorial advisor and reviewer. APM thanks him for his hard work, as well as the insight and objectivity he brought to the editorial process.
As writing continues, APM is looking for peer reviewers to provide feedback on early drafts. If you’d like to get involved, .
