Abu Dhabi University and APM sign strategic Memorandum of Understanding to Advance Project Management Excellence in the UAE
The College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University has taken another significant step toward strengthening
professional project management education through the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with logo (APM), the chartered body for the project profession.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing project management capability, academic excellence, and industry engagement across the United Arab Emirates and the wider region. The partnership also reinforces Abu Dhabi University’s growing international standing following the recent accreditation of its Master of Engineering Management programme by APM.
The MoU aims to create meaningful opportunities for students, academics, and industry professionals by promoting knowledge exchange, professional development, research collaboration, and student engagement initiatives aligned with international project management standards.
The agreement is expected to strengthen the connection between academia and industry while supporting the development of future project leaders capable of delivering complex infrastructure, engineering, energy, digital transformation, and sustainability programmes across the region. Building Future Project Leaders - As the UAE continues to lead ambitious national development programmes and large-scale infrastructure initiatives, the demand for highly skilled project professionals continues to grow. Through this partnership, Abu Dhabi University students will gain greater exposure to internationally recognised project management practices, professional networks, and career development pathways.
The collaboration also opens the door for joint seminars, industry workshops, guest lectures, research initiatives, mentoring opportunities, and the development of an active student-led project management community within the university.
